Convert your pistol into a Pistol Carbine w/ P-IX+ PFA. This is a true pistol carbine experience for Glock pistols. After installing the 16″ barrel, no NFA registration is required!

IMPORTANT: IGB & ReCover Tactical recommend only using quality, Factory Loaded Ammunition. The IGB 16″ barrel won’t function well with cheap ammo! Ammo should meet CIP, SAAMI or NATO standards (e.g. Hornady, Winchester, Magtech or ask at your local gun shop). To cycle properly, the firearm must be shouldered or braced with the 16″ barrel installed. The TFA is a blowback-operated action and is capable of safely firing ammunition up to +P. ALSO: To maintain accuracy, P-IXPFA must be bolted closed with included bolt.

Recover Tactical P-IX+ PFA Pistol Carbine Platform for Glock Pistols is based on our P-IX+ with an added 16″ barrel to replace your existing Glock barrel and front shroud. With the 16″ barrel installed, this becomes a non-NFA item. We source our made-for-Glock barrels exclusively from IGB, an Austrian manufacturer of high-quality barrels.

    Yes, it’s a threaded barrel and can be replaced. Some of our customers choose not to upgrade the recoil spring.

    No, the P-IX+ is not compatible with P80 builds. However, we do offer the 20/80 Stabilizer Kit, which is designed to work with the following P80 models: PF940C, PF940V2, PFC9, and PFS9.

    None of our products, including the P-IX, require a license to purchase, as we do not sell serialized gun parts. However, due to the ever-changing nature of state laws, we are unable to provide legal advice. We recommend reaching out to your local FFL or gun store for assistance.     A Yes - as long as there is currently no optic installed on the gun. To use PFA with an optic, you need to install the optic on the PFA top rail.

    A Can't comment on local laws - but I can say that federally, once you have the PFA and 16" barrel installed, the feds don't consider this an NFA item.
