-
Is this sling made of elastic bungee cord?
-
A
Yes, it is made of elastic sling cord.
how does it attach to the brace?
-
A
You can attach it to the kit this way.
Is this sling compatible with the P-IX+?
-
A
Yes, it really depends on you on how you mount it to your PIX+.
Will this work on the S pro?
-
A
As of the moment, this is not compatible with the S-Pro.
A 'Yes' it will work with the S-Pro if you install the Recover Tactical QD swivel. Other swivels I tried do not seem to fit the S-Pro. Take the sling and loop it through the swivel and back onto itself. Works like a champ.
What's the length of the sling just out of curiosity?
-
A
It is 27 inches long

I was looking for an bungee cord type sling after watching the YT video by Tier One Citizen. He made a sling for the Recover 20/20 he reviewed 5 years ago. I attempted to make a sling but did not like the result so purchased this. Fair price good sling. The bungee has it’s advantages and disadvantages but overall I prefer this type of sling. It can be attached to the S-Pro by installing the Recover QD swivel and then looping this sling through the swivel and back onto itself. Doesn’t work as well as a good single point sling for a rifle but for this little PDW it works well enough.

It’s a great idea and as with anything, you have to learn how to use it properly to get the full use of it.
Watch Tier 1 Citizen’s YouTube video on how to use this minimalist sling. He explains that you have to cinch it tight so when you release the weapon, the firearm sticks to your body. He also explains how to wind it around the brace arm 2 different ways to get it out of the way when you are not using it.

Before buying this sling I was using a pretty standard pistol lanyard. The pistol lanyard worked but it was too long and swung around a little too much. I bought this sling because I knew it was elastic and carried my glock 17 and recover tactical brace higher and tight. And, it’s still flexible enough to not inhibit or interfere with using the setup. I really like it and the price is well worth the value it provides.

Learning how to take advantage of the design is important. Price is fair

I was not expecting this sling to be elastic, In some scenarios, a more ridged material bight be better. That being said the fact that you can wrap this around the back of the brace, creeping it out of the way, and that it will release when you open the brace; makes this sling the perfect choice for the Recover Tactical brace.
