If placed diagonally, you have about 11.7 inches so it will just fit

This bag is completed perfect for any “get home” situation. Where a rifle is too much, but handgun just isn’t enough, this bag is just right for any PDW-style setup. While I’ve transitioned from the Recover Tactical 20/20 brace to full on SBR-ing my G34, I still applaud RT for its innovation and making the sling bag I’ve needed.
The main compartment is adequate for a G34 with a B&T USW-G chassis and 4x 33-rd fun sticks. There are to slot-pockets in the main compartment – one houses my “stendos”, and the other holds my tax stamp & trust.
The secondary compartment has a small slot pocket perfect for a small notebook & a pen or two. The rest of the space holds exactly the following: 2x chest seals, 2x micro gauzes, 2x pair of rubber gloves, a SWAT TQ, a CAT TQ, a Baofeng UV5r, and a earpiece.
The 3rd pocket since on top near the carry handle. It’s small for a pocket knife and keys. I have used it for a spare G17 mag, but I prefer to keep it empty in case I need it for something else. There is a slot-style cutout directly behind this pouch t huh at you can tuck something into covertly. A G17 magazine fits nearly perfectly and with enough snug that it won’t fall out. A G19 magazine would be completely concealed. On the front of this pouch is a cinch strap for tucking more stuff into and keeping it secured. I’ve removed the cord as I just don’t need it. On one side only, there is a small water bottle style pocket with a hook & loop strap to secure contents. The pocket is not big enough for an actual water bottle, but it’s there if you need it. It would be perfect for a TQ, but I prefer to keep all my bleed control stuff together.
There are some plastic loops strategically placed around the bag, so if you need to hang extra stuff from the bag, a few small carabiners will do the trick. Finally, the shoulder strap itself is girthy. It’s wide, it’s long, it’s sturdy, and it’s not uncomfortable to wear. I have not had any chafing or hot spots, and my bag is loaded. Keeping it slightly loose allows for swinging the bag to my front to retrieve my items as needed, and the “flow of movement” is smooth. Overall, it’s not too big, not too small, and prohibits you from adding excess quantities resulting in an overweight package.
